Nashville Report & More (6/15/08)
A really great turnout at the 2008 Nashville Film fest! The event was a lovely land of gift baskets, dvd swaps, and celebrity gawking - experienced with the help of my usual luminaries. Both screenings went well, and the audiences gave really challenging, rewarding feedback during the Q&As. Thanks to everyone who made it!
Hey: pics & blurbs!

Bunnyland at Nashville Film Festival! (12/5/07)
Amazing news - Bunnyland is set to open at the Nashville Film Festival, coming up April 17-24. This is the first planned screening of the film, and the crew and I (as well as a few of the subjects) hope to see you there. Exact dates will be announced soon, but for now check out the
press release and synopsis at the NaFF homepage.

Website Launch (12/5/07)
Welcome to the newly launched Bunnyland homepage, with trailers, cast information, crew bios, and press materials. Hopefully all the coding bugs have been fixed... And special thanks to Minkee, my friendly British designer whose poster concept was adapted into the site layout. I promise to mail you some boysenberry jam, yarn, and dollars, Minkee. (PS: friend Bunnyland on myspace, please)

Bunnyland: Final Cut Complete (12/1/07)
I have recently completed the 86-minute final cut of Bunnyland, and am very happy with it. Thanks to both of my assistant directors, and to all my collaborators who provided support and advice over the past year and a half. I've recently sent the film off to a slew of festivals, so hopefully there will be a premiere sometime soon. Those of you involved in the production should be getting copies shortly. Stay tuned.

Bunnyland Rejected! (11/28/07)
It has recently come to my attention that the rough cut of Bunnyland was not to the liking of several committees in Utah. I apologize for any disruptions this may cause to your winter travel plans.

Nearing a Final Cut (10/22/07)
This project has been my one and only passion for nearly a year and a half, and after a lot of research, a lot of shooting, and a whole lot of editing, I am getting very close to a final cut. My current rough cut still needs some tweaking - sound and color adjustments, mainly. And there may (possibly) be one more short shoot on the horizon. But realistically, I'm nearly happy with Bunnyland, and hope to premiere sometime at the beginning of 2008! If the festivals are on my side, of course. Bunnyland's protagonist, Johnny Tesar, is in good spirits - he is currently in Mexico, returning Inca gold and enjoying a cruise. And I'm doing well in Chicago, though in between editing and the launching of myspaces, I do find myself pining for Memphis and my filmmaking cohorts. Soon!
