Nashville Report & More
Nashville Film Festival was terrific, and my two screenings of Bunnyland attracted enthusiastic audiences and a lot of rewarding feedback. More screenings to come, with any luck before the summer's end. In Memphis work continues on DYKWYCA's What I Love About Concrete, soon to conquer the world. But here in Chicago it's all collaborations and conventions, briefly top secret.

Lecture at Revolving Door
I will be presenting a performative lecture Friday the 4th at Revolving Door Gallery, 1324 1/2 Milwaukee. The topic is "Things that look like Other Things; or Simulacra: a formal lecture on recursive fetishization," which is as scholastically dubious as it sounds. There will be 7 other performances that evening, doors at 8pm, wine and cheese.

Bunnyland at Nashville Film Fest
Amazing news - Bunnyland is set to open at the Nashville Film Festival, coming up April 17-24. This is the first planned screening of the film, and the crew and I (as well as a few of the subjects) hope to see you there. Exact dates will be announced soon, but for now check out the press release and synopsis at the NaFF homepage. In other news, I have begun several new projects, and will be lecturing at Revolving Door Gallery in Chicago on the 4th. More on that to come.

Bunnyland Final Cut, Website
It's been a while since an update, and I've just finished a bunch of stuff. I have recently completed the 86-minute final cut of Bunnyland, and am very happy with it. And I've sent the film off to a slew of festivals, so hopefully there will be a premiere sometime soon. Also, I just launched the new Bunnyland homepage, with trailers, cast information, crew bios, and press materials. Hopefully all the coding bugs have been fixed, so check it out at bunnylandmovie.com. For those of you who have emailed me about other projects, just stay tuned - I'm very busy with Bunnyland these days. Also, Memphis kids, see you soon!

Editing and Auditions
While I am currently holed up editing Bunnyland, I'd like to remind anyone who happens to see this that there will be auditions for "What I Love About Concrete" coming up. This is a new feature film written by Alanna Stewart and Katherine Dohan, and it happens to be based off of a bedtime story I told them. So find yourself at the MeDiA Co-op this Tuesday, please.

New Projects, Old Projects, Pixie Dirt
After a few
days of scavenging through the lawless Memphis outback, I find myself
back up north and ready for some busy times. The Living Script has
begun its slow float around the net, and I'm starting to think about a
new incarnation of my anthro work. Bunnyland continues, while two
new films about clocks and faeries and love and fire are in the
planning stages. I've updated the site a bit - new pics and links
scattered around for you to find. Whoever you are, because I barely
remember.

The Living Script Launches
I've just launched a new collaborative playwriting project, The Living
Script. Basically, it's a script in the form of a wiki that anyone can
write and edit. So please do, at www.livingscript.com.

New Stuff Coming Soon
Hello everyone. I hope the day finds you well. Sorry I haven't been
updating recently, and I promise they'll be some new pages and new
videos up soon. Chicago has been treating me well, and I've almost
completed two new shorts - the mini documentary "Ghost Tour" and the
completely heartless "Boo Hoo Hoo." My main focus is still Bunnyland,
and I will be back in Tennessee in a few weeks for a month of shoots.
Not that I won't find time for some rejuvenating Memphis adventures.
But em, Bunnyland pics and/or teaser should be online soon. For those
of you who have been asking for "Above God" dvd's I've finally printed
up cases and plan to ship them out one of these days.
